The Father Willis Grand Organ in Huddersfield Town Hall is one of the finest concert organs in the country. Changes made by Harrison and Harrison in 1980 gave it many of the colours required in French Classical music, such as Louis Marchand’s massive Grand Dialogue which opens the concert.   Although best remembered now for his Canon, Johann Pachelbel wrote a huge amount of other music, including this beautiful chaconne.
