Huddersfield Town Hall 13.00

February 24 Gordon Stewart

George McPhee has been organist of Paisley Abbey since 1963; this performance of his Prelude on Highland Cathedral will be its first outside Scotland.  Max Reger wrote much of his finest music for organ, and his Opus 59 works are amongst his most approachable. The programme ends with Franz Liszt’s great tribute to J S Bach.
